Well what a busy weekend, went to Greenwich yesterday with some Kiwi, man alive why do I do it? what was supposed to be a two hour trip dragged on forever I left home at 10 and returned shortly after 3, thank god she is going to NZ soon.
Whilst in Greenwich I had a massage, which was awesome, did me the world of good.

~More shopping this morning, Dan has his shopping allowance and we headed off, it took him 30 minutes to spend his monthly £50, and good buys they were too, just shows what you can do without a female in tow!

The England Manager shambles runs on, everyone blames the players and the coach, but I think the press should take some of the blame, their feeding frenzy over many years now is a critical part of our failure, they slaughter players and coaches on a regular basis with a high level of ferocity, the majority of who have never played the game in their lives, the way they behave has obviously introduced a fear factor to the players which shows in their performances, its high time these pampered scribes got behind the team and coaches rather than spout their posion. I have seen how these so called writers behave at close hand, I was at Euro 2000 for the Italy v Romania Quarter Final as a guest of Sony, and witnessed one well known writer who shall remain nameless acting like a spoit brat as he had lost his ticket, quite rightly the officials refused him entry, he went spare, if that had been a regular supporter they would have been arrested, I am happy to say he never got in! the other press boys were in the same lounge area as us and many of the better known English press were steaming drunk and paying no attention to the game. So before these know it all twats spout their vitriolic bollocks, they should pause and think hard about their role in Englands failures over the past 20 or so years.

Candidates for the England job

What a terrible night for England, Steve MacLaren has to go and somebody new must come in, we can do well in the short term with someone like Jose, Gus, or any other top name coach but things in the long term look bleak. Take a look at England's forward line for the game last night, yes Rooney and Owen were injured but the 3 players involved last night were Crouch ( who was the best England player) Defoe and Crouch, these 3 all have one thing in common, none of them is a regular starter for their club sides, Crouch has Torres ahead of him, Defoe and Bent have Berbatov and Keane in front of them, we may have the best league in the world but that is to the detriment of the England national side, look at Arsenal, Theo Walcott is the only English player in the team, and Chelsea have Cole, Lampard, Terry and Wright Phillips, Man Utd, Liverpool have Steve Gerrard, its a bit obvious isnt it? there are way too many non english players playing for english clubs, as long as this continues the national side will struggle to qualify, we need to place a limit on non english players, put the emphasis on home grown players, when I say home grown I don't mean the French and Spanish kids that Arsene Wenger seems to love to get his hands on, I mean English born players, its time to put England first, but that will never happen because the Premier League is awash with obscene amounts of cash, clubs are desperate to stay in the premier league and will pay top dollar for average foriegn players, the top clubs need the Champions League cash to stay afloat, look at what happened to Leeds, its not a healthy environment for our top clubs, but it will not change. Premier League Clubs have academies, but we need to start from the bottom, kids football is a joke, I have seen 7 year olds being taught how to block players, how to win free kicks, and there is precious little work on ball skills, even at kids football level its win at all costs, I have been to games to watch my son play and seen the opposition spend the entire game kicking lumps ot of Dans team, and in one particular game the parents were an absolute disgrace, the atmosphere was poisonous, thank god my son does not play anymore, and he is playing cricket. Until we sort all these problems and forget the notion that we deserve to be at these tournaments we will continue as we are, second rate......
Golden Generation? My arse.

Well everything is now sorted for the weekend to Wales, bunkhouse is booked as is the mini bus, the drinks fountain is on order and all sorts of dodgy plans are being made, if any one is planning a quiet weekend near the Waterfalls in the beacons, i would give the weekend of 7th December a miss!

The back is giving me some serious problems, not sure it is a muscular injury at the moment saw the quack today and its a specialist for me.

The boy Finch came home from his mothers Sunday night with the biggest gob stopper I have ever seen, now I always thought gobstoppers were supposed to keep the buggers quiet, well he has had this one since the weekend and its still going and he still has not shut up!!!

Big day Thursday, Sky are coming to install my Virgin Radio prize, a free Sky Plus box with all the bells and whistles free for a year, the current box in the living room is being moved to my bedroom to make way for the new system, its a hard life!

Long time no pots I am very sorry! been a bit busy with studying and visiting Bristol, which was good fun, my nephew and I are convinced there was a Jo Brand convention on, saw loads of Jo Brands in Bristol!

Age may be catching up with this Finch, done something nasty to my neck which resulted in me having to visit a chiropractor, she was a petite blonde, loked gorgeuos, was just thinking about what I could get up to with a lass like that when wham! this little demon got to work on my lower neck and upper back, sheer agony, all sorts of clicking noises and me wondering how such a pettite blonde can be so powerful and nasty!

Question

Why dont NHS bosses start hiring obsessive compulsives as nurses? Their attention to hygiene and constant hand washing would see an end to MRSA outbreaks in no time.
