My god am I tired, watched the rugby with a friend last night, drunk champagne and cooked a lovely curry, shame about the result, I was doing my nut when the try was not given, man alive if I could have got my hands on the TV ref he would have been in all sorts of problems. Still they did very well to get to the final, further than the Welsh, Jock, Aussies and our NZ friends, so 4 more years of bragging over that wretched lot!

Studies going well, putting a good few hours a week into it, feeling absolutley drained at the moment. A week off looms, and we are off to Bristol to see the relatives which should be good, and if you live in the Brecons, be warned the New Romney Mountain Rescue Team are coming to the hills again on Dec 7th, with a full team in attendance, and our special guest, a certain Dr from Dr and the Medics, I predict a Karaoke night and the good Dr being forced into Spirit in the Sky before he gets slaughtered by the team, we also have out Xmas Karaoke Cd so stand by for Feed the Welsh.......... apparently my big brother is threatening to turn up on the Saturday, oh dear..... not sure he knows what he has let himself in for.

My employer is considering new play areas for our residents, as a professional health and safety person, I have to look carefully and go through any possible scenarios that could lead to an injury, I discovered this on the internet whilst doing some research, I cannot see anything risky with this slide at all, so I shall recommned it.

A bit late but who cares

Well last week i wrote blogged about my course tutor, it appears that complaining does work, the tutor has been replaced on our course, and we were also treated to lunch today! great news.

The new boss is in and as I htought is a whirlwind, boy did she have a baptism of fire, cannot record details due to confidentality, but we had the worse case scenario fairly quickly on her first day.
Watched the Grand Prix Sunday, my nephew and my brother joined me for the race and bacon sandwich's, we decided to make comments about the race using song titles, i quite enjoyed when Lewis Hamilton's tyre exposed the canvas under the rubber as it enabled me to announce that Lewis was touching cloth but sadly we could not find a song title to fit!
Whilst on the subject of Lewis Hamilton, I find him to be far too perfect, always says the right thing always looks immaculate, just too perfect, hopefully we will dicover that he downloads shed loads of porn whilst at his teams HQ! Kimi Raikonnen is probably the most dull subject to interview I would suspect, god that man is so dull, and as for James Allen, well rearrange tosser complete for my thoughts on him

Well what a week! Monday my new boss came for a one day visit before she starts next Monday, like a whirlwind she was, this woman means business, she has already ordered a redec of the office, new uplights and desk lamps, and most impressive she bought me lunch, think I am going to learn a lot from her!
Which brings me to my studies, I am currently up to my eyes in my NEBOSH H&S Diploma, was going well until the last few weeks we have a tutor who cannot stay on subject, he wanders off in tangents talking about his caving activities, now we have a very short time to learn some extremely difficult an d technical stuff, and we are now behind two weeks, and seriously worried as we have him next week, we are all paying £7000 for this and are seriolsy worried so a deputation is plannned, we had a lengthy discussion with our tutor today about this but he was very defensive, so we are going higher up!

Am amused to see John Terry in a full Phantom of the Opera mask this evening training for Chelski!

As i have said before I am not apolitical animal but the Prime Ministers announcement about troop withdrawal from Iraq does appear to be timed to take the press away from the Tory party conference, firstly if they are being that cynical then they should be thrown out of power, and i suspect they are, and also this sort of announcement should be made in Parliament, or is the House of Commons not worth the effort anymore?

Yours in Ben Elton mode
