Can we remove this twat from my TV?
Why is this talentless twat continually on my TV?
Grrrr
I feel I may have been unfair to Stratford in a recent blog, the reason? simple, this morning I sat in Woolwich outside a Costa coffee sipping a Latte and realised how awful Woolwich really is, what an absolute dump, I recall in my early teens it was a good place to shop, lots of decent clothes stores, the first MacDonalds in the UK, The RACS department store, Cuffs, Littlewoods, Marks and Spencers. Now it seems to be a series of pound shops, card shops, mobile phones, a market that is nothing like as good as the market I used to love shopping in, my favourite trick was walking past the Fish Stall and saying very loudly 'morning ladies', as a rather cheeky teenager a group of us would stand in the centre of the market and just stare up into the sky, now after a while a crowd would gather and start staring up, at which point we would melt away and look back at a bunch of people staring in the sky for no reason, try it, you only need two or three of you to get the buggers going, they are like lambs! another popular pastime of ours was at the RACS on Plumstead Common, we would stand at the crossing and wait for the cars to stop then walk across as if we were carrying a large pane of glass, then we would act as if we had dropped the thing, we would have a fair fews cars queuing at this stage, and it was always a giggle to see drivers swerving to avoid the non-existent glass on the road!
Anyway back to Woolwich, its dump and full of people with no skin left on their knuckles... man alive pond life everywhere, so may I apologise to the my Stratford living friend who was upset at the last blog, and who sat with me in Woolwich and noticed with me that Woolwich is indeed a complete shit hole...
Apparently they are in the process of redeveloping the Love Lane area, and building a rather nice new Tesco and some other stuff, hopefully I will be living in the countryside somewhere rather than Woolwich.

I have learnt something new this weekend, never ever go on the radio having demolished 2 bottles of red and the best part of 2 bottles of whiskey! Although the Red Bull did help, it was a very subdued show... The hangover Saturday morning is up there as one of the worse, Its Sunday lunchtime and I am still feeling a tad wobbly

Ok all my guests are lined up for tomorrow, We have Peter Pitts on to talk about Sittingbourne FC, Mark Rogers to chat all things Sheppey Sunday League and making his debut on BRFM, Ceri Jones will be talking Formula 1.
Got some great music lined up and as I have been getting pretty heavily into Pink Floyd there may be one or two tracks form them, one of which will definitely be Comfortably Numb!
So it's 95.6fm in North Kent or www.brfm.net from 2 til 6.
Not arf

I have managed to persuade my F1 man to get over his shyness and so Ceri Jones will be joining us on the show this Saturday. Ceri has a vast knowledge of F1 and runs a fun Fantasy F1 league, which I sadly am useless at and young Finch won the year before last!
You can tune into the show if you are in North Kent or listen live at www.brfm.net from 2-4pm this Saturday.
Gawd I am in trouble this morning, my entire right side is absolute agony, especially my right shoulder, man live its sore.
Just had it confirmed Peter Pitts will be in the studio on Saturday as John Pitts (the older looking one) is unavailable, looking forward to that, might even manage to get through a show with out the ref being slated!
Our F1 man is playing it shy! will work on him today.

2 April 2008

Well what was going to be a quiet weekend has gone out of the window!
Saturday morning will find me in darkest Essex visiting my new radio station, then its a mad dash down to Sheppey as I am covering for Dave Williams on the BRFM Sport Show, Dave has somehow managed to get some tickets for Arsenals game against Liverpool. Sadly John Pitts will not be on the show, many reasons for this, firstly Sittingbourne are playing Friday night, also its his birthday and he is going to see We Will Rock You, now I am surprised at this choice of show, but bearing in mind that there does not seem to be a Bee Gee show yet, the 4th Bee Gee has settled for the Queen show instead. He has mentioned that his twin brother Peter may be available to talk about the previous nights game. Peter and John are pretty identical and I have mistaken Peter for John at Sittingbourne, Sorry Peter I apologise profusely!
Mark Rogers should be popping in, and hopefully we may have some F1 chatter, and of course some great music and me!
Young Finch was somewhat subdued at cricket practice last night, had a bad night poor lad, he tripped over in his run up and banged his knee a bit so sat out most of practice, but not before he had bowled at me, no wicket for the boy this time, I was Geoff Boycott personified! Last night saw me try out a new helmet, I am not used to wearing a helmet so it was good practice, sadly there is a down side. We have two very quick bowlers, Sam and Simba, who create mayhem when they bowl, two eager teenagers who are seriously quick saw the helmet as the ideal time to practice some short stuff! Man alive I was seriously scared at times, the pace was frightening, and they were moving the ball into me, I forgot all ideas of being Geoff Boycott and opted for ducking and weaving, I only got hit on the head once, so the helmet did its job. I can wait to see these two in action in the summer, they are going to cause absolute chaos. Our best bowler was Nicky V last year sadly Nicky was murdered last September and we will miss him at games, but these two boys would have him chuckling at the thought of their bowling!
Another one of our bowlers last year missed the last few games with ankle problems, and has only just returned to practice, he was bowling at half pace, but the ball was moving all over the place, impossible to play against, and he was not even keeping one side of the ball polished, so I let him use my ball which is heavily shined on one side and he really started swinging it outrageously, looks like our bowling is going to be very strong this year, as for our batting....oh dear
I would also like to add that I ache like buggery this morning, its worse than it has been before, but at least the knee seems ok!
