Well there we were 1-0 to Spurs, with 20 mins to go, and on comes Jermaine Defoe, and the choir begin the serenade of our former trainee...Winker Jermaine Defoe they sung with gusto, I sat there thinking please stop motivating him, he will score, and so it came to pass, Jermaine struck in injury time to confirm what we already knew. For all the passion they showed last night there was not enough skill, and where was this passion pre Pardew? A hardy bunch of stayed behind and waited for the team to come out again, they looked distraught and Diawarra was immense, he came up to the East Stand and was shaking hands with the fans, top class in my book.
